Position: Audiologist and Speech Therapist – 1 (One)
Employment Type: Contract Basis Department: ENT
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognized institution.
-
Registered with the Nepal Health Professional Council.
-
Basic computer skills.
-
At least 2 years of experience in the related field.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Primary Roles:
-
Assess, diagnose, and manage speech and language difficulties.
-
Assess and manage swallowing and feeding difficulties (dysphagia).
-
Counsel and educate patients, families, teachers, and caregivers.
-
Develop individualized therapy plans and monitor progress.
-
Document each individual’s report.
Secondary Roles:
-
Assess and diagnose hearing and balance problems.
-
Identify the type and degree of hearing loss.
-
Select, fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
-
Provide hearing rehabilitation and counseling to patients and families.
